Dead by Daylight

Dead by Daylight is turning six years old but Behaviour Interactive developers have no plans to slow down and rest on the game’s collective laurels. In celebration of DbD’s sixth anniversary, the dev team took to the airwaves to showcase what players can expect throughout the balance of 2022 and beyond.

Here’s a peek at what lies ahead for Killers and Survivors in 2022:

  • A new original chapter called Roots of Dread coming June 7, 2022. It comes with a new Killer called The Dredge and a new Survivor named Haddie Kaur. The Garden of Joy map is part of the content update set in a quaint American town.
  • DbD x Resident Evil: Project W coming later in 2022. Behaviour has teamed up with Capcom to bring Nemesis, Jill Valentine, and Leon S. Kennedy to DbD. Later in 2022, the two companies will team up again to bring even more Resident Evil characters into the game.
  • A new visual novel interactive game called Hooked on You: A Dead by Daylight Dating Sim. It allows players to romance their favorite Killers. Behaviour teamed up with Psyop, the creators of I Love You, Colonel Sanders! A Finger-Lickin’ Good Dating Simulator to bring extra cheese into their game.
  • DbD x Attack on Titan via Collection: Attack on Titan will feature 10 different Killer/Survivor outfits.
  • DbD Mobile is “coming back in force” with a major update with leaderboards, quick match, and social systems as well as improvements in most systems and features. The CBT for the update will be coming in the next few weeks in the USA.
