Developer Motion Twin releases their sixth and final major content patch for roguelike-metroidvania smash hit, Dead Cells.
“The time has come for our baby update to leave the alpha/beta nest and take its first steps in the real world. We’ve stocked up on coffee and junk food in the office, so we’re ready for any overnight emergency fixes (or unexpected siege warfare), but we’re pretty confident that weeks of testing should keep us sleeping in our own beds,” says Steve Filby, producer at Motion Twin.
After spending weeks in balancing and routing out bugs in the game, “Hand of the King” offers players a new castle themed level with its own “rage-quit inducing” boss, a new nightmare difficulty level, and a wealth of new weapons, monsters, and design tweaks.
With over 600,000 copies sold in Steam’s Early Access program, Motion Twin anticipates the return of their existing player base to the content and sweetens the deal for new players by offering Dead Cells at a limited time, discounted price of $13.40 USD.

I love a good Metroidvania game and I’ve had my eye on this one for a bit. I have been debating picking it up on Steam, but other games call for my attention at the moment!
