A few days ago Team Ninja reached out to the players of fighting game Dead or Alive 6 via Twitter to offer their acknowledgment and apology for hair color change feature. Previously, the system would require real cash to change the hair color of your character – including restoring the old color you have been using before. While the game is free to play and the sales of cosmetics is a usual tactic, offering hair color swap for real cash was a step too far, and the developers agree.

Additionally, the developers have released a new video to remind players of a new character entering the Dead or Alive 6 arena for some action. Meet Tamaki, an alluring woman who has seen success as a model and a fashion designer. Tamaki’s natural talent is also apparent in her Aikido skills, which she began as a means of self-defense but has advanced to a master level despite her young age. One day, she receives an invitation to “Venuses’ Fighting Competition”, which happens to be the DOA Tournament.
Dead or Alive 6 is a fast-paced 3D fighting game, produced by Koei Tecmo Games, featuring stunning graphics and multi-tiered stages that create a truly entertaining competitive experience. The game is built on the new engine that allows for more realistic visual details, 4k resolution support, and better lighting. Players will even see the characters’ facial expressions changing dynamically – fierce scowls, pained grimaces and more.
