If you’re dying to see what EA and Motive are up to with the revival of Dead Space, you’ll definitely want to check into a special livestream event happening later today. Interested fans can head to the Motive Twitch channel today, Tuesday, August 31st starting at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern.
During the livestream, fans will get a look at an early development build of the game and hear from Dead Space leads at Motive, including Senior Producer Philippe Ducharme and Creative Director Roman Campos-Oriola. They will speak about their vision for this remake. In addition, the stream will also feature some special guests from the Dead Space Community Council, a group made up of some of the franchise’s biggest fans who have been consulting on this project.
The forthcoming game is a remake of the original and is currently in development to “reestablish the franchise as a core single-player experience”. Motive is rebooting the series from the ground up for Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC using EA’s Frostbyte Engine. It is unknown if the upcoming version will be compatible with Xbox One or PlayStation 4. Little else is known including when we might expect its release.
