Dead Space Launch Trailer Looks Inside The Ishimura

Dead Space, the upcoming remake of the iconic sci-fi horror, just dropped a new trailer just ahead of its 27 January release date.

Prepare to dive headfirst into a job none of us want in the desolate reaches of space. Dead Space returns to its roots on 27 January and the team behind this remake just gave us one more glimpse at what’s coming before the final release. The new launch trailer for the Dead Space gives us a look at just how far technology has come on since the first incarnation of Dead Space hit screens back in 2018.

This reimagining of the USG Ishimura finds protagonist Isaac Clarke wandering the hull of a desolate mining vessel after the industrial hub goes silent. What seems like a routine mission turns into a disastrous fight for survival. You will probably already know the story, but the trailer gives us a glimpse inside the gothic industrial architecture of the Ishimura and the horrors that lie in the dark. This isn’t your average Halo styled adventure, and there’s more than a nod to Warhammer 40k’s imposing industrial design in this spaceraft.

Aside form the improved graphics and reworked backdrops, the new remake of Dead Space promises plenty of new challenges, no loading screens as you crawl through the guts of this derelict behemoth, and no microtransactions. If you’re already convinced that publisher EA isn’t going to make the same mistakes as they did during Dead Space 3, then you can head over to the official website to find out more and pre order this title on PC, PlayStation, and Xbox.
