EA and Motive Studios took to the airwaves recently to discuss progress being made on the Dead Space remake. The most notable announcement during the event is the news that the game will be launching in early 2023. The team also showed off some early gameplay footage that showcases some of the systems being overhauled for the updated version of the game. Lastly, Motive confirmed that Gunner Wright will be returning as the voice of Isaac Clark, the game’s protagonist.
Some of the big-ticket items in the event include:
- an early look at the audio systems
- the Occlusion System
- the A.L.I.V.E. System
- weapon audio
Another video event with the development team will be held in May 2022 and will feature a peek at the Art Design.
The remake will be launching exclusively for Xbox Series X, Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5, and PC.
