Much to the disappointment of PC players around the world, Kojima Productions has announced that Death Stranding will be delayed until July 14, 2020. The game was supposed to arrive for PC on June 2nd but the effects of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and the resulting temporary closure of the studio have forced the delay.
Following the temporary closure of KOJIMA PRODUCTIONS, we have had to delay the PC launch of DEATH STRANDING to July 14, 2020, to allow more development time amidst the current work-from-home orders in place. Thank you all for your patience and continued support!#keeponkeepingon pic.twitter.com/euOmebcdQj

The game has been available as a PlayStation 4 exclusive title since November 2019 and PC players have been eagerly awaiting their chance to play the well-regarded title since then. PC players will be able to take part via both Steam and the Epic Games Store once July rolls around. PC players will also receive a nice package of updated features including photo mode, a higher frame rate, and ultra monitor support. In addition, Steam users will see a cool crossover between Valve’s Half-Life and Death Stranding.
The Steam page hasn’t yet been updated and still reflects the June 2nd release date. However, we fully anticipate that this will change later today since a developer post on Steam is already available with the revised date.
