Deathbound Starts the Party on Console and PC

Bring death along for the ride and take on Deathbound, a unique party based soulslike on PC and consoles.

rialforge Studio’s new single player experience is out now. Adventurers across PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S can head into a world where Faith and Science collide to build a group of heroes and battle through a grim post apocalypse. In this alternative version of reality, you must defy defeat by forging bonds with fallen warriors you encounter on your journey. Bring them back to life and wield their skills against everything that lurks in the neon-tinged shadows ahead.

Along the way, you’ll slot together a mix of abilities and weapons to take down fearsome challenges. Gain the skills, memories and identities of fallen warriors throughout the world. Combine their unique personalities and combat styles and switch between them seamlessly to overcome everything that awaits in a world torn between a technological past and a medieval present.

Group synergy isn’t all about building combos. Party members come from a range of factions from inside the land of Ziêminal. Align members from the Church of Death and the Cult of Life and try not to antagonise them too much. If their personalities don’t cause too much conflict, your team might even make it out in one piece. Pick a similar set of personalities and there might even be powerful combat buffs available.

Deathbound’s interesting motif and intriguing mix of ideas stands out in a crowded market, and there are plenty of options for players looking to pledge themselves to Faith or Science. Along with the base game available for $29.99 / €29.99, two special editions have launched as well. Exclusively available on PC, the Cult of Life Deluxe Edition is available for $32.99 / €32.99 and includes a copy of the game, the soundtrack, an artbook, and the Legacies of Ziêminal Skins. Available on both console and PC, the Church of Death Ultimate Edition is available for $34.99 / €34.99. The Ultimate Edition includes everything from the Deluxe Edition, as well as access to the upcoming Accepted By Death post-launch DLC. Check out more on the official website now.

Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
