The future of sportsball is coming when Deathsprint 66 arrives on Steam next month.

Get ready to go fast and draw blood. Secret Mode has confirmed that its upcoming high speed foot race turned death march is coming to PC in just over a month. Anybody brave enough to enter the arena will take part in thrilling 8 player PvP on-foot race across extreme obstacle courses that push the boundaries of entertainment. Draw breath and blood as you run, jump, drift and slide through deadly tracks and deploy powerful abilities to get to the front of the pack. Just, avoid the GIGA SAW!

Cleary inspired by the likes of Rollerdrome, Rollerball, and even a bit of Wipeout, this running sim isn’t just about winning. You’ll need to entertain an audience that’s baying for action. Your fame rank is a measure of how attractive you are to sponsors, the higher the rank, the more interested they’ll be, unlocking a greater variety of cosmetics for your runner. Really, you’re just a gorgeous tool of the Bachman Media Network.

Before the cameras go live for real, Secret mode is running a few test laps. There’s a technical test running tonight, while another session gets started Friday 9 August 2024, from 2PM BST/9AM EST/6AM PT until 6PM BST/1PM EST/10AM PT. To get on the grid, head over to the official Steam Store page, request access, and then let rip.

Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
