On Saturday, November 21st, Bungie will be swinging open the doors to the next Destiny 2 raid, Deep Stone Crypt, part of the Beyond Light expansion. The raid will officially be open starting at 10:00 am Pacific / 1:00 pm Eastern. From that moment forward, the race begins as Guardians try for their shot at the World First title and belt.
To help prepare players for Deep Stone Crypt, developers have offered a bit of advice. It will take the right gear to be successful in the raid, including some restrictions.
- Contest Mode will cap players at 20 Power below each encounter for 24 hours.
- Artifact Power will be disabled during Contest Mode.
- 1230 Power is your team’s goal to be at the cap for all the encounters.
- Being above 1230 will not provide an additional advantage in the final fight
Between now and Saturday, Guardians will need to be in training with their fellow teammates and working to ensure their gear is up to snuff for the adventure. Those who manage to complete Deep Stone Crypt before 9:00 am Pacific / 12:00 pm Eastern on December 1st will be able to purchase the Europa-ready raid jacket from the Bungie Store using Bungie Rewards.
