PC gamers with an Amazon Prime subscription are about to get an excuse to stay this month indoors. The Prime gaming August update include a massive 22 free titles to claim and keep this month. After giving away Kill the Justice League last month, the online retailer turned gaming giant is giving away Dues Ex, tomb Raider, and a bunch of incredible indie titles. By logging into Prime Gaming and claiming August’s games players will be able to claim a whopping 20 titles.
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided
Deus Ex: Mankind Divided is the second installment in the Mankind series, continuing the story of protagonist Adam Jensen. This role-playing game (RPG) takes place in a world where augmented humans face widespread discrimination. Players control Jensen, now an experienced covert operative, as he navigates this hostile environment. The title features an expanded arsenal of advanced weapons and augmentations, providing players with a variety of tactical options. These tools can be utilized to approach missions and challenges in different ways, allowing for diverse gameplay experiences. A central theme of the game is the complex web of trust and betrayal. Players must make critical decisions about whom to align with as Jensen works to uncover a global conspiracy. These choices can significantly impact the progression of the story and its outcome. Tomb Raider: The Last Revelation + Chronicles
Not satisfied with one Tomb Raider game, Prime add another to this month’s catalog. Here, Lara heads to Egypt and unwittingly releases the evil god Set. You’ll need to tackle a range of familiar challenges to put this deity back in its prison, while Chronicles takes a look at what happened when Lara vanishes down a tomb seemingly never to return.
Grime: Definitive Edition
Be the embodiment of a black hole and work through an original platforming adventure in Grime. We Described this unusual Akupara Games idea as an odd amalgamation of ideas, from Souls based RPGs, to platforming punch em ups, all oddly twisted into something that looks like a little nightmare all its own.
Stray Gods: The Roleplaying Musical
Launched just last year, Stray Gods is an indie roleplaying escapade that mixes mythical deities, stage shows, musical challenges, and some iconic writing to make one of the most unique titles of last year. Now, its already available for free on Prime. Grab it, play it, become the star of the show.
Beside these awesome highlights, you’ll also find a plethora of indie hits. Loop Hero wields an expanding deck of mystical cards to place enemies, buildings, and terrain as we navigate Devolver’s time twisting escapade.
