Digital Extremes Stops Development of The Amazing Eternals

The Amazing Eternals Development

Digital Extremes company has announced that it cancels the development of The Amazing Eternals. The decision was not an easy one to make for the team. The servers will continue working until November 2nd. There will be refunds for those who participated in the Founders Program.

After many discussions internally on the state of The Amazing Eternals, we have decided to hit the pause button on development at this time. This decision didn’t come lightly. We worked hard to make a game that we are proud to say was shaping up to have great potential.  However, we took an honest look at the current gaming landscape and how the game was performing in Closed Beta. Unfortunately, the game wasn’t attracting players fast enough to support a viable matchmaking player base with the current game design direction, which is the lifeblood of this type of game. So, with heavy hearts, we’re taking a step back to reevaluate the design and may revisit our intrepid heroes in the future.

The official forums and Discord channel will go on indefinitely. In the meantime, Digital Extremes will pour all their resources into Warframe.

  1. Now if Lawbreakers would get the memo.

    • What memo? Lawbreakers has already been released. Are you referring to it’s low number of players? That is unfortunate as the game is pretty fun. Would the memo be to go free to play?

      • That it’s a REALLY crowded market for this kind of game, and with LB’s high degree of difficulty and being a boxed price, it’s not going to gain traction.
