For anyone who’s been living under a rock, it may be worth noting that the Diablo 2: Resurrected open beta will be taking part from Friday, August 20th until Monday, August 23rd. This is a fantastic opportunity for fence-sitters to check out the game free of charge to see all of the massive improvements that Blizzard has made from the original. Players can take part on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
Here’s what you need to know:
- Single- and multi-player options will be available
- Act I and Act II will be the focus of the beta
- Five of the seven classes will be playable: Amazon, Barbarian, Sorceress, Druid, and Paladin. Sadly, neither the Assassin nor the Necromancer will be playable until launch.
- There is no level cap so players can try out multiple builds and combinations
- Progress in the open beta will not carry over to the game’s release
- The open beta client can be downloaded as early as Thursday, August 19th
Diablo 2: Resurrected will be out on multiple platforms starting September 23, 2021. Check out the official site to learn more.
