Developer Blizzard Entertainment revealed the pre-launch livestream for Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred, kicking off on October 2 at 11 am PDT. During the stream, associate community director Adam Fletcher and a number of devs from Blizzard will provide an in-depths look at the expansion. Additionally, you can get your first look at Season 6!
Vessel of Hatred is the first major expansion for Diablo 4 that continues the main story of the base game. Lilith has fallen, but the fight against the Hatred is far from over.
Players will journey into the new region of Nahantu in search of Neyrelle, who is both suffering the fate of her choice to imprison the Prime Evil Mephisto, and seeking a means to destroy him. Fight together in a new PvE co-op activity, & more.
On your journey, you will be accompanied by Mercenaries, ordinary people that possess extraordinary skills and the iron will to fight against the demons of Hell. There are a total of four that you can collect over the course of the campaign.
Additionally, players will unlock a new class: the Spiritborn, one of the most mobile classes yet. Coming from deep within the tangled vines and swampy mires of the Nahantu Jungle, the Spiritborn can commune with ancient spirits while leveraging incredible speed and agility. The Spiritborn can also call upon Spirit Guardians to help them out in the midst of battle: the unique strengths of Jaguar, Gorilla, Eagle, and Centipede Spirits will see you overcome any nightmare the Burning Hells throws your way.
Diablo 4: Vessel of Hatred releases on October 8.
