Developer Blizzard Entertainment revealed that the latest patch to Diablo II: Resurrected is now available on the PTR. The goal of patch 2.4 is to test the ladder functionality, Uber Diablo updates and additional balance changes.
The Diablo II: Resurrected Ladder launch represents an optional ranked competitive system of the game through a series of modes available to select from with a fresh Ladder-specific character(s). Each mode will have its own leaderboard where players compete to strategically gain experience within a limited timeframe while having access to Ladder-specific content. When the Ladder season ends, leaderboard rankings will reset, transitioning characters to non-ladder mode, giving players an opportunity to store their hard-earned treasured loot as a new Ladder season awaits them.
The patch also includes class balance, changes to the mercenaries such as the Rogue Archers now being able to use Amazon Bows and getting Amazon skill bonuses from gear, rune words changes, unique monster density being increased in the new level 85 areas and more.
