Blizzard developers have posted an extensive blog to introduce Diablo II: Resurrected players to the upcoming 2.4.3. While the blog title is cagey saying that the patch is “coming soon”, the post actually announces that it will be released on Wednesday, June 29th. Players can expect a number of big changes, most significantly to multiplayer aspects of the game. In addition, the team is unveiling an upcoming “magic find bonus” event which should ramp up finding all the best gear in the game.
Here’s what’s unpacked in the long post:
- Backend Improvements: The maximum number of games that can appear in the Game List has been doubled and game details will refresh in real time.
- Console Lobby Updates: Players will now have the option in a much cleaner interface to create a private/public game or to join a public game once they press “Play”.
- Game Creator: Those choosing to create games will have a new interface pop-up that will allow them to select exactly the options they want available in their game.
- PC Lobby Updates: There is now a search option available in the lobby so that specific keywords or game names can be typed in. Information including connection quality will give options to players on which games to join.
- Magic Find Bonus: From June 30th to July 4th a Magic Find Bonus event will take place that gives players a +50% bonus to finding epic loot.
- Quality of Life Improvements
