Diablo Immortal, Blizzard Entertainment’s latest Diablo experience coming to mobile devices and PC, received a new blog post on the official site to introduce players to a new zone: the Realm of Damnation.
The events of Diablo Immortal are set after those of Diablo 2: Lord of Destruction, including the implosion of Mount Arreat. The storyline sends you racing after the cataclysmic shards of the Worldstone, the artifact used to create Sanctuary. After you’ve explored frozen wastes and festering swamps and cemeteries choked with the risen dead, your quest will take you somewhere people who played the Closed Beta haven’t seen yet: the Realm of Damnation.
The Realm of Damnation is the personal hell of a demon lord Skarn, the mastermind that pursues the Worldstone shards. At the end of the Frozen Tundra story quest, you’ll follow Skarn into his lair and uncover what he’s been planning for humanity — but you won’t immediately come face to face with the Lord of Damnation or all of his forces.
The location is split into a few zones: the Forest of Misery, the Last Vestige and more. The Realm of Damnation also features a new dungeon, the Pit of Anguish. Check out the blog post by following the link above to learn more.
Diablo Immortal is coming to mobile devices on June 2nd. The PC beta test starts on the same day.
