The developers from Blizzard Entertainment have been on hand for Diablo 4 Campfire Chat. During the stream, the team has revealed that the first content patch 1.1.1 will be arriving on August 8th. The existing Patch Notes article will be updated on August 2nd to reflect the changes coming with the update.
“On July 25, we held our Patch 1.1.1 Campfire Chat. Game director Joe Shely, associate game director Joseph Piepiora, lead class designer Adam Jackson, and associate director of community Adam Fletcher detailed Class balance changes, quality of life updates, and more in the coming Patch. The team also answered questions from players in a Q&A session at the end of the stream.”
During the livestream, the developers have noted that the underpowered classes such as the Barbarian will receive buffs. Nightmare dungeons will see an increase in the number of enemies while the overall game will enjoy the performance increase. The team also promised to take a look at and rework some of the underappreciated unique items.
Diablo IV is currently going through its very first season, the Season of the Malignant. Players are tasked to fight new malignant threat that is corrupting the world.
