Over the course of the next several updates, developers will be working on a number of fronts including:

  • Performance & Server Stability – The team is looking into several issues with regard to server stability and correct data processing. In addition, hardware will be given the once-over including making the game perform better across a broader array of PC configurations.
  • Gunplay & Balance – Over two patches, several issues will be addressed including reduced spread when zoomed and moving, improvements to stationary zoomed accuracy, spread decreasing faster and earlier, increased PP-29 vertical recoil, too high a spread, and reduced effectiveness of NTW-50 against vehicles
  • Solo/Co-Op and Custom Portal Experience Progression – “This past weekend we were able to reintroduce those caps and developed smarter XP and progression caps that have allowed us to re-enable XP earned via Portal Custom Experiences.”

The updates will also include improvements to the UI, matchmaking and friends, progression and unlocks, rendering, maps, the Battlefield Portal improvements, Battlefield Hazard Zone, Conquest, Breakthrough, and general improvements across the board.
