Disintegration, the brand new IP from V1 Interactive, is coming to PC and console on 16 June.

If you checked out the Disintegration beta earlier in January 2020 then you might have, like us, been waiting patiently for more news on the upcoming first-person title. Now developer V1 has confirmed that Disintegration is coming to Playstation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Steam on 16 June. It will drop on digital storefronts fro around £39.99 or local equivalent and is set to thrust players into a dystopian world where they must fight for the right to become human again.

Set in a not so bright future where humanity stands on the brink of extinction from the Earth, the population survives as mechanical avatars and a process known as integration. While this cyborg sense of self might be superior in many ways, it doesn’t sit well with some of the population and as the world starts to tilt off balance and a malevolent force rises, they find they need to fight for the right to be free from the action of a force known as the Rayonne.

A New Story

Disintegration, while coming from some of the minds behind the Halo universe, isn’t just a first-person shooter. When we tried it during the beta phase we found it to be a blend of first-person strategy elements and narrative that creates a very distinct experience for players. As players blast through the challenges ahead they have to use more than the firepower of resistance leader Romer Shoal and his Gravcycle to get past the Rayonne threat. In addition to a full single-player campaign, Disintegration features frenetic PVP multiplayer where pilots and their crews compete in three game modes and six distinct maps. Players can select from nine highly-stylized “Crews” which lend themselves to different playstyles. Frankly, we’re kind of hyped for the upcoming action.

Pre-orders will grab a unique Crew Skin, custom emote, Gravcycle medal attachment, and platform exclusive banner. Pre-orders are available now for Xbox One and PC.
