Gameloft has announced the start of the new Disney Dreamlight Valley in-game event, Dreamlight Parks Fest, which allows players to discover Disney Parks. The free update will run from now through June 9th and offers players a chance to complete special quests to earn time-limited rewards for the effort.
Developers have released an all-new trailer that showcases gameplay. For instance, Disney and Pixar Villagers may request players to find and collect Parks-inspired buttons or cook cupcakes. As they do so, players will unlock new recipes to craft popcorn buckets, maps, and furniture used to decorate their Dreamlight Parks.
Developers have a hint for players looking for Buttons to return to their Villager friends:
- Red Buttons: Found around or inside Villager houses.
- Blue Buttons: Found randomly while fishing at white fishing spots on Dazzle Beach and in Peaceful Meadow ponds.
- Green Buttons: Rewarded through daily and weekly event quests.
- Flower Buttons: Found around the Plaza and Peaceful Meadow.
- Purple Buttons: Crafted with other Buttons.
The DDV social team will announce milestones players pass along the way that may yield some sweet in-game rewards. These may include Moonstones, crafting resources, and much more. Players are urged to keep an eye on the Community Challenge for more information.
