Doki Doki Literature Club Plus, the updated physical version of Team Salvato’s iconic visual novel, is now available on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5.
Already available for purchase on the Nintendo Switch, the physical release of iconic visual novel Doki Doki Literature club now has a home on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5. The new release hit store shelves at the end of last week to little fanfare but brings a ton of new content to the tale. Players adding this to their in home library of games will get the original visual novel on PlayStation 4 or PlayStation 5 as well as some updates. Doki Doki Literature Club Plus is filled with hours of side stories that expand the world of Doki Doki Literature Club, exploring themes and ideas that will give players a deeper understanding and sense of connection to each and every character and their individual relationships with one another. Tis covers 6 new side stories, covering the in game friendships, as well as including 13 all-new unlockable songs by Nikki Kaelar, plus special guests Jason Hayes and Azuria Sky.

Doki Doki Literature Club Plus is the upgraded version of subversive visual novel. It follows a student who joins his school’s literature club at the request of his childhood friend Sayori. Initially inviting players to partake in slice of life high school drama and get to know the other members of this club, things take some unexpected turns along the way.
