Naughty Dog isn’t planning any DLC for its runaway PlayStation 4 success The Last of Us Part II. Writer and Game Director Neil Druckmann told Kinda Funny that no story DLC is planned for the critically acclaimed game, unlike its predecessor that added one DLC as part of a Season Pass. The company has, however, changed its mind with regard to Part II.
Druckmann said, “No, with Last of Us I think we had some Season Pass or something that said ahead of time we have some story DLC–no there’s no plans for that.”
Those looking for more TLoU2 content need not despair. There are plans to bring some type of online multiplayer to the game at some point in the future as a completely separate game mode from the base game. When that will happen, however, remains murky.
