Don’t Miss Out on Reality Bending Adventure Tenet of the Spark

Walk your own path or slip between worlds and find another in newly announced Tenet of the Spark

ROAR Games just announced an action adventure that will bring a whole new word to the urban jungle, Due to land across current generation consoles and PC during 2026, Tenet of the Spark is an ambitious first attempt for the US indie studio and follows the fate of Will, a boxer standing up street gangs and the ghosts of his past. That past, however, goes deep. Aiding him on a fists first quest, are the spirits of his ancestors. To overcome the challenges that await and survive, he’ll need to channel this lineage in an unexpected way.

As a narrative led action brawler, players can expect plenty of fluid fisticuffs but it won’t all stay beneath the cold neon glow of the city. Instead, channelling Will’s ancestors drags the action back through the ages. Hop between eras to gain an edge in battle. Take a look at the trailer, above. See the way reality warps and get a first glimpse of a frost-bitten Viking and ancient Aztec warrior, as Will calls on their assistance.

If you’ve had a look at the trailer, there’s clear inspiration taken form a few Marvel ideas. Moon Knight, The Spiderverse, and more all have an obvious nod or two. That’s no bad thing. It certainly looks impressive and I it’s a more grounded take on the normal high swinging superheroes we tend to see among the high rises. While that’s way out in 2026, a little time won’t hurt. We’re not all Will, after all. Find out more about Tenet of the Spark over on the official website now.
