Gryphline has started sign ups for a newly announced Arknights: Endfield Beta Test
Pc explorers and gacha champions can finally try out the ingenious new gacha game from Gryphline. The studio behind the rest of the Arknights series has announced PC testing phase for the latest in this ongoing franchise and a look at a gacha game that has a unique twist to the genre. The upcoming RPG test doesn’t have a definitive date quite yet, but we do know it will arrive some time during January 2025. Sign-ups are already open. Interested players can follow the game on social media to stay up to date, or just jump right in and sign up over on the official website right now.
What to Expect
The new of a future testing event was accompanied by a new trailer. It gives potential players a look at a new world, ready to be explored and colonised. You’ll find glimpses of the Endministrator character and significant companions, the environments that you’ll find in game, and a brief glimpse of the action combat. The teaser also emphasizes the title’s focus on a unique building mechanic. Unlike the competition, there’s something a little bit of industrial magic to building a new home on Talos-II. Alongside the usual action combat mechanics, players picking a plot will be expected to build a fully functional production line generating power and processing materials, much like Satisfactory styled games. It adds a brand new twist to the traditional fantasy explore and conquer concept that impressed us during our Gamescom 2024 hands on. While we tried this title out on PC, do expect it to eventually come to PS5 in addition to PC, iOS, and Android when it goes live.
PC Beta Requirements
To play in the beta , you’ll need a distinctly mid range PC, although don’t expect to get by on just a small slice of RAM. While the still popular GTX 1060 GPU will suffice, you’ll need at least 16GB of RAM to get onto Talos-II.
