The developers from id Software have unveiled the first video in the series of dev diaries to prepare players for the arrival of Doom Eternal. Join Marty Stratton, the executive producer of Doom Eternal, and Hugo Martin, the game director, as they discuss in-game events. From the ground up, Doom Eternal is built to be a primarily online experience that gives you more and more ways and reasons to play and more opportunities for the team to deliver amazing content in a variety of ways, depending on how you choose to play your game, be it the campaign, or battle mode or invasion, etc.
From one of the previous reveals we have learned that you can bring some punishment to demons in the most unusual visage of the Doomicorn. In the video above the team dived deeper into how players can earn cosmetics: players will earn them through the course of the season by playing the campaign levels, battle mode matches, from gun skins to character skins and more. Some of those costumes are cool while others are “super whacky“.
