If you’ve been dying to get your hands on Resident Evil Village, your time is nearly at hand. To help pass the time until the May 7th release date, Capcom has made a demo available that can be played from May 1st to May 9th. This will be particularly handy for those who are on the fence about purchasing the full game. The demo will be available for PC via Steam or Stadia, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
There are a few conditions for REV demo play, however, that are worthy of note.
- The demo can only be played for a total of 60 minutes.
- The demo can be replayed up to the 60-minute limit.
- The demo can be “continued” as long as it is within the 60-minute time limit.
- A chance to meet Lady Dimetrscu herself, we hope!
While the details of the demo’s contents are somewhat unclear, Capcom has indicated that players can spend their whole time in “either the village or the castle, or split it between the two”.
