Dragon Age: The Veilguard – Check Out Editions Available For Pre-Order

Dragon Age: The Veilguard, the latest entry in the beloved story-driven RPG series, is set to release for PC, PS5 & Xbox Series X|S on October 31. In addition to revealing the release date, developer Bioware and publisher EA have kicked off the pre-orders. Let’s check out the various available editions and what goodies they provide!

Pre-ordering any edition of the game, including the Standard, will grant players a cosmetic set of armor for Rook that had been inspired by the Blood Dragon armor from Dragon Age 2. Note that the armor looks different based on your class! Check out the screenshot below for reference.

The Standard Edition of the game goes for $59.99 for PC / $69.99 for PS5 or Xbox Series X|S consoles, and offers just the base game itself. If all you want is to dive back into Thedas, there is no need to look further. However, if you want some additional in-game goodies or actual merch, there are two more Editions to consider: the Deluxe Edition & Rooks Coffer Edition.

Dragon Age: The Veilguard Deluxe Edition sits at a respectable $79.99 for PC and $89.99 for consoles. In addition to the base game, it also includes a number of in-game items:

• 3 Rook armor sets (one per each class);
• 6 weapon appearances for Rook;
• 7 Companion armor appearances;
• 7 Companion weapon appearances;

By far the juiciest (and the priciest) version is Rook’s Coffer Edition that goes for $149.99 on the Bioware Gear Store. Note that this version DOES NOT CONTAIN THE GAME. So if you decide to go for this Edition, you will have to additionally purchase the Standard Edition of the game.

In addition to all the in-game goodies featured in the Deluxe Edition, Rook’s Coffer contains a number of physical rewards:

• Light-up Lyrium Dagger
• Rook’s Card Deck
• Enchanted Die
• Glass Potion Flask
• Cloth Map and Quiver
• Dragon Age: The Veilguard companion lithograph
• Thank-you letter from the developers

• You can purchase the art book from Dark Horse for $49.99. This is a 256-page hardcover book that offers a peek at the process of making the game.
• Alternatively, you can pre-order the Bioware Gear exclusive variant of the standard edition. It features exclusive cover art and includes a stunning print available only in this edition.
• The Deluxe Edition will cost you $99.99, whether you purchase it from Dark Horse or from the Bioware Gear Store. This deluxe edition includes an elegant foil-stamped slipcase and cover, gilded pages and a ribbon book marker, and two lithographic art prints in a sleek portfolio!
