Techland has sent out the latest in the Dying Light 2 Know More video series showcases one of the game’s most interesting features: parkour. In this episode, Lead Game Designer Tymon Smektala shows how in-game gravity has been adjusted to make the parkour mechanics behave closer to reality. In addition, he explains why this near-realism is important for the overall player experience.
DL2 will be launching on February 4, 2022 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch via Cloud Version. Pre-orders are currently available and include some in-game goodies including outfits, weapons, a backpack, and paraglider skins.
