Koei Tecmo America has announced that Dynasty Warriors 9 will be headed out the gate in early 2018. It will be out for XBox One and PlayStation 4 as well as PC via Steam.

Devs have released a new trailer to show off some of the game’s best moves. Check this out!
In addition to introducing the game’s story, characters, and locations, the trailer highlights the brand-new State Combo system. Players are offered a selection of options during attacks. You can use Flow Attacks that create combos depending on the enemy’s position. You’ll find they continue when enemies are prone, are in mid-air, or stunned. You can also launch Reactive Attacks including counterattacks, dash attacks, and assaults. Finally, you can use Trigger Attacks that are powerful moves to change an enemy’s state.
