Kakao Games and Reality MagiQ have announced a new survival title called Dysterra that will be entering its PC alpha phase of development on March 18th via Steam. The game is considered a large-scale multiplayer survival title that utilizes “deep crafting systems”. It is being built using Unreal Engine 4 and is aiming for an early access release in 2021.

The game allows players will be able to craft gear and also be able to build construction and production facilities for other types of crafting opportunities. This, according to developers, allows for “exciting conflicts and environmental calamities”.

The first alpha test will be conducted on March 18th. Players are invited to head to the game’s official site to sign up for possible selection to take part. Sign-ups are being accepted from now through March 15th with invitations being sent after that date.

“We are developing a golden balance that allows novice survivors to enjoy the game for a long time while maintaining the unique tension of survival games,” the Dysterra team shared “We want to create Dysterra as a survival game that many gamers can relate to and immerse in.”
