In the EA’s fourth quarter fiscal 2019 earnings call, the company has confirmed that it is bringing hit Battle Royal Apex Legends to mobile devices. Electronic Arts is also working on bringing the game to China, to reach a wider audience.

With Apex Legends, the company is forecasting net bookings in the range of $300 million to $400 million.

We are in advanced negotiations to bring Apex Legends to China and to mobile, and we will update you on time frames when those negotiations are concluded. We are selfpublishing Apex Legends in Korea. The game offers an opportunity for us to build a direct connection with our players there, and we hope to be able to leverage this for other games.

Apex Legends is a free-to-play Battle Royale developed by Titanfall’s creators Respawn Entertainment.

  • Explore a growing roster of powerful Legends, each with their own unique personality, strengths, and abilities.
  • Choose your Legend, team up with two other players, and combine your unique skills to be the last squad standing.
  • Master your Legend’s abilities, make strategic calls on the fly, and use your team’s strengths to your advantage in vicious 60-player matches.
