Who IS Edith Finch?
Edith is the game’s protagonist who is in search of her family’s past. The game is a collection of different stories, each including its own visual look and game play mechanics. Edith is trying to find out why she is the only one left.
As you play, you become one of several of her family members. You experience their lives and see them on the day of their death. Some chapters are in the distant past, others in the present time.

You’ll explore the colossal Finch house, searching for stories as she explores her family history and tries to figure out why she’s the last one in her family left alive. Each story you find lets you experience the life of a new family member on the day of their death, with stories ranging from the distant past to the present day.
