EGX Rezzed, the London indie event that fell to the Coronavirus, is back on as ReedPOP announce Rezzed Digital.
Kicking off on 26 March, yes tomorrow, at 10 AM UK time the Rezzed Digital is not exactly a complete replacement for getting to grips with all the indie gems that EGX Rezzed had in store but it looks to be a dam exciting development for gamers that had to scrap plan to congregate on London. For three days the EGX Rezzed website will host a wealth of content, allowing fans to experience a ton of upcoming games from the comfort of their own home.
Not Just Games
The likes of Eurogamer, RockPaperShotgun, OutsideXbox, Jesse Cox, Dicebreaker and more will appear on the screen as the weekend progresses. Games will feature prominently but that isn’t all you’ll see. Viewers will get access to their favorite creators, including lets plays, incredible developer interviews, and career panels.
David Lilley, Head of Events, UK, ReedPOP said “Rezzed: Digital is our way of shining a light on and celebrating some of the incredible games and gaming content that was planned to be showcased this weekend at EGX Rezzed. We’ve worked with many friends and partners to bring together what we believe is a great line-up and we welcome anyone who would like to join us over the next 3 days and enjoy a little taste of Rezzed from the comfort and safety of their homes.”
The Rezzed Digital event isn’t restricted to ticket holders. Everyone can join the taster for EGX Rezzed. Even if you are not planning to attend the rescheduled hands-on event come 2 July, this event looks like a great way to see the weekend in beat the boredom. We don’t have the full schedule just yet but you can check out the stream over on the Rezzed website and the EGX Twitter channel.
