Genshin Impact fans can experience the new region of Natlan when the HoYoverse comes to Gamescom 2024.

HoYoverse has announced a massive line up of events coming to Gamescom 2024, including a look at the latest region of Teyvat. Anybody braves enough to face the real-life crowds of Cologne this August will find themselves travelling across the HoYoverse. The gaming behemoth behind Genshin Impact, Honkai Star Rail, and the new Zenless Zone Zero twill be able to get a taste of the big three up close and personal, with an extra special preview for Travellers.

Genshin Impact might be four years old already, but the free to play fantasy RPG that kicked off a wave of success is still going strong. This year, players can get an early look at Natlan, the sixth major region yet to be explored in the world of Teyvat. Officially glimpsed in the Saurain Wandering teaser trailer, Natlan is a region where humans and Saurians live together and looks likely to mix a range of existing ideas into a brand-new world of vertical adventure.

You won’t need to listen to our guesses for long, however. HoYo are set to bring a giant boss statue and themed decorations from Natlan for fans to see. Expect the usual rush of cosplayers and performances on the main stage that tie into the new region. While HoYo have promised more surprises from Natlan, we’ll be there to get a look at the region brought to life.

The Rest of the HoYoverse

For the rest of us expect to see the sights and sounds of a bustling metropolis, as Penacony and New Eridu take to the stage too. The backdrops for Honkai Star Rail and Zenless Zone Zeon will arrive as a range of activities and demonstrations. Zenless Zone Zero will take over 100 square meters. Look out for ben bigger, a giant Bangboo, a chance to win-game rewards, customize cargo containers, and more.

Honkai Star Rail fans will get to explore the exuberant city of Penacony in real life. Kind of. The booth will be surrounded by iconic attractions that will remind you of the “Planet of Festivities,” where players can explore the ethereal Dreampool, try their luck at the Golden Capsule Machine, and indulge in the exciting Origami Bird Clash Match. Pom-Pom will be there to guide visitors, so don’t forget your camera to capture the moment.

After the recent release of Zenless Zone Zero, HoYoverse is likely to be a massive draw for PC, mobile, and console gamers this year. We’ll be taking a look at what’s happening all across Gamescom 2024. If you can’t make it to the gaming exhibition in Cologne, keep an eye on Gamespace for our updates.
