Some time ago, Epic Games announced the initial rollout of Epic Achievements system. Now, the developers have taken to Twitter to reveal that players can now unlock achievements in select games such as Rocket League, Hades, Pillars of Eternity, Kena, Zombie Army 4, Alan Wake Remastered, and more.
Previously, the platform introduced a different type of achievement – the so-called “developer achievements”. Those achievements are fully owned and operated by developers. This new Epic Achievements system adds additional benefits for players and brings them more in line with achievement systems on other platforms. The team expects this new system will roll out all developers on the Epic Games Store in the coming months.
Additionally, between October 15 and November 15, you can subscribe to Epic Games email and alerts program and get a $10 Epic Coupon (or local equivalent) towards your next eligible game purchase on the Epic Games Store.
Check your account settings and look under communications preferences to see your current subscription status. The team is checking for new subscribers daily and asks users to allow for up to 24 hours for the coupon to arrive in the inventory. Once received, the coupon will be applied at checkout with your next eligible purchase. Keep an eye on your account inventory to see if your coupon is ready to be used.
If you are already subscribed, the coupon will arrive in your inventory automatically.
