So, recently one of the games I play the most had its creator jump up on Twitter and declare that with a certain amount of likes, the game traders would be disabled. Shortly after that, he teased that if even more likes were achieved the flea market would be disabled. Well, the tease was no tease, and now we have an event on our hands.
Nikita, the COO of Battlestate Games, disabled all traders and the flea market. This means that all of the game’s players will need to survive with the gear that they currently have stashed or, they will need to go out and get more gear from other players and scavs or raiders.
There was an update that showed a document about collecting money to re-enable the flea market and everyone speculated as to what the amount was. The top right corner of the page has a big 600 on it. I have heard it said that the magical number is 600 billion rubles to get the flea market back, and over one trillion to get the traders back.
Here are some of the tweets that have been posted about the situation. Also, I have not played anything during this event but I feel that I soon will just to see how chaotic the servers are at the moment.
