MMORPG The Elder Scrolls Online is preparing to kick off the yearly New Life Festival to celebrate the year well-spent. Take part to earn bonus XP and rewards while you tackle the special quests!
The New Life Festival 2024 begins on Thursday, December 19, and will last until January 7th, 2025. During this year’s festivities, you can earn a variety of jolly rewards including New Life Boxes, XP boosts, Event Tickets, and more.
While the event is active, you will be able to enjoy an automatic 100% boost to XP whenever you log in to the game, no extra steps required. Complete the New Life Festival’s introductory quest and collect Breda’s Bottomless Mead Mug memento to celebrate the passing of another year in Tamriel!
“After wrapping up the event’s introductory quest, you’ll unlock 10 special New Life Festival daily quests: nine from Breda and one from Petronius Galenus. The pair will task you to travel across the vastness of Tamriel and share seasonal merriment with its denizens.”
The seasonal boxes awarded for completion of the quests may contain:

- Wolfsbane Incense
- One of the following:
- A Skinchanger motif page
- New Life Festival Recipes
- New Life Furnishings
- Deep Winter Charity Writs
- Imperial Charity Writs
- NEW A Bolt of Winter Storm Cloth
- If you’ve already earned a Bolt of Winter Storm Cloth that day, a Morning Star Frostwear outfit style page or an Evergreen armor outfit style page will be given instead
- NEW The Runebox for the Surprising Snowglobe memento
- The chance to receive this increases based on how many bolts of the New Life Winter Storm Robes you have earned
