KingsIsle and Gamigo have announced that the server transfer process for EU Wizard101 players has started. Gameforge is no longer publishing the family-friendly MMO in the EU region and all players are being brought under the single banner provided by Gamigo and KingsIsle and will find game updates deployed more efficiently than in previous years.
“Today marks an important date in the history of Wizard101 as we begin to welcome European Wizards home,” says KingsIsle Entertainment Game Director Leah Ruben. “While this is only the start of a longer road to syncing content internationally, it’s certainly a step in the right direction as we work hard to bring better support to European players going forward.”
EU players will need to register a new KingsIsle account if they have not already. After doing so, players will receive a personal transition code that will transfer all of their game progress and Crowns balances to their new KI accounts. For more information about how to get started and about how the transfer process works, head to the special page on the W101 EU site.
