Searching For Something Special

Searching for a gaming chair can be quite a chore with all of the different brands and types of chairs that are out there today. With a multitude of companies available, there are a few things to look for in a gaming chair. How well the chair will support you, the durability level of the fabric or leather this throne consists of, price, and comfortability. Let’s explore more about this EwinRacing Heavy Duty Gaming Chair.

Coming into 2022 we already know that there are a lot of companies out there building their businesses off of gaming chair sales. Whether it is Secret Labs, Arozzi, or EwinRacing, they are they to serve their customers and try to provide a key piece of equipment to help people during their long gaming marathons. One of the concerns I have with buying new furniture, especially for gaming, is how well it will handle my everyday wear and tear. Out of the box, the Flash XL chair has a weight capacity of 550 lbs. I am mid-range for this weight capacity and the chair feels very sturdy. From the steel frame construction of the chair to the steel wheelbase it rolls around without issue. The only real concern I have about the wheelbase is that it could have legs that are just a little longer to prevent tipping. It raises and lowers without any need for extra force, and it doesn’t feel like it is going to fall apart when you put all of your weight onto it.

The durability and feel of a chair’s main face are paramount to how well received it is. Comparable fabric chairs, such as the one I own, are very comfortable, but fabric is not easily cleaned when it inevitably gets dirty. The Flash XL is made of PU Leather which is easily cleaned and durable. Wiping it down is easy enough and it doesn’t show any signs, yet, that there are any markings from daily domestic duties.. This is one of this chair’s main selling points, adding a stain-resistant fabric and a durable exterior coat to one of the Flash XL’s other key components. Inside of the chair the Flash XL contains E-Win Cold-Cure Foam. This core is about two times heavier than normal foam in other similar chairs. It is flexible and feels fantastic even after sitting down for 8 or more hour gaming sessions with no show of any groove forming in the base.

If you are going to spend hours a day in a chair then it needs to be comfortable and support you. This is the biggest takeaway from any chair. With the Flash XL, the aforementioned cold foam core and internal frame provide great support and a comfortable choice to anybody aiming for a relaxing night of gaming. Another reason the chair is great for simply sitting is the ability to change the lean angle from 85 degrees to 155 degrees. Just last night I tilted it back to about 125 degrees to watch television in my office and I woke up a couple of episodes later. When a chair is so comfortable that you fall asleep just by sitting in it, then it gets a great rating in my book. Objectively the only other chair I have owned that allowed me a similar feeling is my Titan XL. This one takes the lead in comfort for me. The 4d armrests provide extra arm support with the ability to raise and lower to fit your needs. They also spin outwards and inwards locking into position. If you need a little more or less room for the armrests you can slide them forward and backward as well. The price of $469 USD, is competitively priced with other companies. Each person’s back is different and everyone is going to have a different opinion of how each chair feels, so you will have to make up your mind about how it feels.

Conclusion

There are chair companies out there with cheaper chairs for budget gamers and there are those like EwinRacing with their Flash XL Heavy Duty Gaming Chair. In my experience, you get what you pay for when it comes to every aspect of your chair. I have had the cheap chairs that have virtually no support and breaks after a little while, and I have used the more expensive chairs and had them for several years without issue. I feel like EwinRacing has a winner with this gaming chair. The Flash XL Heavy Duty Gaming Chair is available now for $469 USD or local equivalent.
