Archetype Entertainment introduced what seesm to be a first look at the Arkavir, an unstoppable arm of the Celestial empires.
Sci-fi fans waiting on the upcoming epic, Exodus, can glimpse a little more of the galaxy today with new images and details on the Arkavir. Archetype Entertainment dropped a an update detailing the powerful servants of the Celestials, first introduced in an early creature reveal. Introduced as unstoppable workers, these powerful bipeds are the long arm of any empire where the hills aren’t green or pleasant.
While the recent update is sparse in comparison to larger narrative introduction, it still provides a ton of detail. Confirming that the Celestial influence can be found out beyond their core plants in the Centauri Cluster, the news also provides a look at a new potential problem. Rendered as something that falls between a turtle and an armadillo, they’re all armoured scales and tough hide. Whether hostile atmosphere, sulphur rain, incinerating heat, or monumental cold, the Arkavir can endure it. These engineered shapeshifters are a workforce bred to face impossible scenarios and will likely be found in some of the most valuable outposts in the galaxy. Where unstable environments can be found, Travelers might come across isolated laboratories, rare minerals, and more rare resources. You’ll just have to get past these workers too.
