Team up, grab a gun and shoot up some dinosaurs in Capcom’s Exoprimal
In 2040, when dinosaurs reappear across the globe and threaten humanity’s existence. Frankly Micheal Chrichton’s got a lot to answer for in the future. Capcom’s take on the rogue dinosaurs is a little different to Frontier’s Jurassic Park strategy sims. Instead, this new shooter invites players to jump in on PC, console, and Xbox Game Pass to hunt down hordes of these ravenous bests.
First appearing in major consciousness as part of a Street Fighter crossover announcement on Summer Games Fest 2023, this adventure wraps players up in powerful armor known as Exosuits, which represent humanity’s greatest hope. Unfortunately for humanity, your team is trapped on an island where the mysterious Leviathan enlists them as test subjects in a deadly wargame. What unfolds next is a game of Dino Survival. Two squads of five Exofighters race to complete various objectives before their opponents, while also battling against swarms of dinosaurs. During the deadly experiment, players can wield and swap ut a total of ten different suits. Each comes with tis own powers an, playstyle, and class. Divided into Assault, Tank, and Support classes, every Exosuit has a distinct role in tackling the dinosaur threat and assisting their team. Of course, expect to unlock new weapons, abilities, and story hints as you progress through the game, giving more ways to survive the big teethy locals.
Frankly it’s all a little ridiculous, but I did mention the Street Fighter crossover here ken and Ryu become android, right? In addition to that collaboration, expect updates like Savage Gauntlet launches on 28 July, a challenging PvE experience with missions that rotate weekly and can be replayed for higher rankings and rewards.
