Beyond Good and Evil 2 was undoubtedly one of few the highlights of a lackluster E3 2017. Explosive action, legendary quests, and equine expletives were all wrapped up in a stunning pre-rendered presentation, that aroused a tingle of excitement for most of us. Now, Ubisoft is setting some more realistic expectations with an in-engine demo of Beyond Good and Evil 2.
Welcome to our world in Beyond Good and Evil 2….
However, more realistic still includes some incredible graphics. From the teaser’s iconic airborne monkey to a gargantuan statue, which looms over the opening moments of this video, the world looks amazing. The scale of everything on display is absolutely awe inspiring. Spaceships that stretch over several hundred meters dwarf the player character while entire biomes appear to be modeled in a real-time environment that encompasses entire stellar systems.
While this technical presentation looks fantastic, it presents more than just pretty scenery. Sharp ears will uncover more about the game’s home instance, vehicles, character creation, and more during Creative Director, Michel Ancel’s 15-minute tour around this early build. We won’t spoil it all here, you can find out more by watching the video and keeping an eye on the official Space Monkey Program.
