Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, the LEGO Group, and Lucasfilm Games have released a fascinating new video that explores the evolution of the LEGO Star Wars Games from the first game through the upcoming LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga. The video explores “the collaboration between the partners to deliver something special for fans, along with developer insight into some of the Easter eggs players will find in the game, such as Pew Pew Mode, which humorously replaces all weapon sound effects with phonetic mouth noises that simulate blasters, lightsabers and more!”
The Skywalker Saga is due out on April 5, 2022 for PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S, Nintendo Switch, and PC. The game is up for pre-order on each platform’s store and those who opt to pre-purchase the game will be treated to early access to the Trooper Character Pack. The pack will be available to everyone about a month after launch and can be purchased as a standalone add-on or as part of the Character Collection Season Pass which will include seven add-ons to the game. Anyone purchasing the physical edition will also receive a LEGO Star Wars Minifigure Luke Skywalker with Blue Milk.
