Fable Fortune Brings a Familiar World to CCG Players

FABLE FORTUNE

CCG fans rejoice as it looks like Fable Fortune, the new CCG (Collectible Card Game) has left early access after seven months to join the mainstream gaming lineup. Developer Flaming Fowl Studios had announced earlier last week that the game would be officially released as a free-to-play title on Steam, Xbox One, and Windows 10. It arrived on February 22nd.

Fable Fortune comes with a nice set of features including a full single-player story mode, a deck helper, a daily bounties system and a full emote system just to name a few. Throw in some co-op mode fun and this game is looking to provide a unique spin on the CCG genre.

The game has come a long way over the past seven months in early access and the developers are looking forward to the continued support and feedback from players.

About Fable Fortune

Fable Fortune, much like its long line of predecessors, is all about choices and living with the repercussions of those choices. As the player, you will take on the role of one of the six available heroes and battle for the very fate of Albion. Packed full of choices, quests, and cards players will find themselves engaging in a challenging CCG. Be sure to check out the launch trailer below:

From the Steam description:

Fable Fortune is a game of Choice and Consequence. Play as one of six unique Heroes in a card game with fast-paced and thrilling tactical gameplay.

At the start of a match, you must choose your quest. Completing quests earns unique rewards which can help turn the tide of battle.

On completing a Quest, you must choose, Good or Evil?

Turning to Good or Evil changes the abilities your hero can use, but also the powers and properties of your cards.

This means you can react to your opponent, changing your strategy and the cards in your hand based on the choices you make.

Fable Fortune has been designed from the ground up around 2 player co-op.

Team up with a friend or stranger to learn the game, working together to take down challenging Raid Bosses.

In Co-op mode, you take turns to fight, but you share each others units. For the hardest challenges, you’ll need to work closely with an ally, designing decks and picking heroes which synergize with each other.

Beat bosses to earn exclusive prizes and rewards.
