Fall Guys Goes Free to Play & Gets New Switch, Xbox, And PS5 Editions

Falls Guys Is Set To Come Blazing onto three new platforms when the chaotic arena competition goes free to play on 21 June 2022.

Due to come blazing in at 120HJz when it hits PlayStation 5, as well as making a cross platform arrival on Nintendo Switch and Xbox, Fall Guys goes free to play on 21 June 2022. The full of beans multiplayer announced the move across social media channels and on the official website today and there’s plenty of detail to come with the announcement. The bright neon future for Mediatonic’s own brand of It’s A Knockout will hopefully introduce a ton of new players to the title, as well as shifting the monetization model into something that isn’t too egregious. Much like many free to play experiences, Fall Guys will cram in a season pass system when it passes zero day, allowing players to log in for free but earn extra special cosmetics and more. Anybody who already paid out for the title before I got snapped up by Epic will be able to download a shiny Legacy Pack DLC as well as cash in the season one pass absolutely gratis. While we don’t necessarily know exactly what the season pass will bring quite yet, the initial teaser promises plenty of new levels and extra costumes. So, whether you’re ready to tumble down Fall Mountain or reach Dizzy heights, there should be no reason to say you won’t be(an) there.

This free to play move isn’t entirely unexpected. Since fall Guys g was gobbled up by Epic, it’s been on the cards that the title was going to make a move over onto the publisher’s own PC storefront. Now, co incidentally, it will arrive on the Epic games Store on the 21 June too. Fall guys will be free to play on Switch, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, and the Epic Games Store, imminently, so had over to the official website to find out more.

For those of you who I’ve not met yet, my name is Ed. After an early indoctrination into PC gaming, years adrift on the unwashed internet, running a successful guild, and testing video games, I turned my hand to writing about them. Now, you will find me squawking across a multitude of sites and even getting to play games now and then
