Dynamic duo developers Jason Bond and Trey Powell have announced that Fallen Aces: Episode 1 is now available for PC via Steam. The game has already garnered nearly 1,300 “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews in just a few days since launching into early access on Steam.
Last week, developers released a gameplay trailer that helps reveal why players are so pleased with the game.
Fallen Aces is a crime noir FPS title where the A.C.E.S. guard Switchblade City. However, they’re being taken down by a mysterious enemy. It’s up to “one man with two fists to get to the bottom of it all.” Enter a world of heroes, villains, crime, corruption, and betrayal.
Features include
- A gritty crime noir saga spanning three episodes and dozens of levels and featuring fully voiced hand-drawn comic cutscenes – Fallen Aces tells a real story.
- The world is your weapon: use fists, knives, pipes, bats, trash cans, frying pans, pistols, shotguns, nail guns, spear guns, Tommy guns and more to take back Switchblade City.
- Non-linear level design: Choose your path, use stealth, go loud, or try a mixture of both!
- Hand-drawn: The game is brought to life by 100% original hand-drawn art and animation (No AI).
- Fuggedaboutit! Hundreds of lines of authentic period-era gangster dialogue inject personality into the wide array of people and places in Fallen Aces.
For those who like to “try before buying,” a demo is available that offers a peek into the game’s setting and gameplay features.
