Bethesda developers have unveiled a big year for Fallout 76 as evidenced by the publication of the year’s roadmap. Players will be treated to new content, updated events, a new Expedition, and much more. The team laid out the bare-bones peek into the future on a seasonal basis starting with what everyone can expect starting in the next few weeks as spring rolls out.
Spring
- an all-new seasonal event called Invaders from Beyond. This is a map-wide event complete with UFOs and aliens. Players will collect Brainwave Siphons to complete research.
- improvements and changes to Fallout Worlds
- earn SCORE on daily/weekly challenges
- new CAMP settings for buildings
- PVP settings

Summer
- Test Your Metal
- three new public events – Test Your Metal, Eviction Notice, and Moonshine Jamboree
- Fallout First members will find an improved scoreboard including an increased SCORE earn rate, exclusive challenges, and ranks
Fall
- Expeditions: The Pitt released and considered a “whole new way to play FO76”. Players head outside Appalachia for the first time
- Repeatable off-site Missions with new rewards, NPCs, quests, dialog trees, Trogs from FO3 The Pitt
Winter
- “An entrepreneur of the wasteland has kicked the tires and uncapped the pre-war Nuka-World on Tour traveling roadshow. The roadshow has set its sights on the Ash Heap region of Appalachia.”
- new Public Events including a new Region Boss public event
- new loot, exploration opportunities, new NPCs
