Bethesda has some great news for Fallout 76 players who are looking for new ways to play. Custom Worlds will allow Fallout 1st members to use their paid subscription to the game to take a private server and make them their own. The new system is on the Public Test Server already so players can dive right in and start experimenting.
With Fallout Worlds, your imagination is the limit when under the sky of your own personal Appalachia. Utilizing a wide list of customizable settings, players can construct C.A.M.P.s in previously restricted areas or even remove the need for electricity to establish a builder’s paradise. Love FO76’s survival mechanics? You can double down on braving Appalachia’s untamed wilds by changing the PVP rules and difficulty settings. And those are but two examples of what’s possible in Fallout Worlds.
Players will be able to tweak nearly every aspect of their world including ammo, creature spawns, weather effects, jumping heights, fall damage, ragdoll physics, settlement height limits, and much more. Developers have plans to add even more customization options for World owners over time.
Once the new Custom Worlds feature launches, all players will be able to choose from Public Worlds and Custom Worlds. Public Worlds are servers “hand-crafted by the team at Bethesda Game Studios with input from the FO76 community”. Each of these worlds will utilize different combinations of World’s settings to “bring a unique play experience”.
