Fallout 76 Launches Steel Dawn with New Trailer

Last week to the surprise of many, Bethesda stealth launched the free Steel Dawn update to Fallout 76 across all available platforms. Originally planned for release on December 1st, Steel Dawn was inadvertently launched for Xbox One last week and developers decided to gift players with the DLC for Thanksgiving by releasing it on other platforms as well. Now that the scheduled deployment date has arrived, Bethesda has released the official launch trailer for Steel Dawn.

Steel Dawn is the first chapter of the Brotherhood of Steel questline and adds a number of significant features to the game including:

  • an entirely new questline where players determine how they will aid The Brotherhood of Steel NPCs
  • unique weapons and armor themed around The Brotherhood
  • new underground C.A.M.P. shelters available through a special questline and separate from a player’s main C.A.M.P.

The Brotherhood of Steel updates will continue into 2021 with the addition of new quests to further explore the stories. The team has plans to release more information about these updates in the coming months.

FO76 players will also find that the annual Holiday Scorched Seasonal Event has returned as well as a number of gameplay improvements.
